Step 1: Choose Your Domain (5 minutes)

Pick ONE from the 6 domains above. Which problem excites you most?

Step 2: Find Your Problem (1-2 weeks)

• Talk to real users
• Understand their pain points
• Don't assume — validate
• Document what you learn

Step 3: Design Your Solution (2-3 weeks)

• Sketch out your approach
• Think through execution
• Plan how you'd build it
• Make it practical, not just theoretical

Step 4: Submit & Present (Before April 30)

• Document your findings (2-3 pages max)
• Submit via ConnectsBlue
• Selected teams present to judges
• Winners announced & celebrated

What to Submit: Your solution in ONE of these formats:

• 📄 PDF Document (2-3 pages max)
• 🎬 PowerPoint Presentation (10-15 slides)
• 🎥 Video Explanation (5-7 minutes)

What to Include:

1. Problem Statement — The exact issue you're solving
2. User Research — Who are the users? What do they need?
3. Your Solution — How does it solve the problem?
4. Execution Plan — Step-by-step approach to build it
5. Why It Works — Why is your solution practical & doable?
6. Team Details — Who's on your team?

We evaluate based on:

• Do you truly understand the problem?
• Is it a real pain point?
• Have you validated with users?

2. Innovation (20%)

• Is your solution creative?
• Is it different from existing solutions?
• Does it bring a fresh perspective?

• Is the execution approach realistic?
• Have you thought through real-world challenges?
• Can a fresher/student actually execute this?

4. Impact (20%)

• Who benefits from your solution?
• How many people will it help?
• What's the scale of impact?

5. Clarity (15%)

• Is your idea clearly communicated?
• Can judges understand your approach?
• Is the presentation professional?

Q: What if I don't have a team? A: Individual submissions are welcome! You can also form a team of up to 4 members.

Q: Do I need to code to participate? A: Not necessarily. We value problem-solving thinking and practical execution planning — not just code. You can submit a detailed solution design without a working prototype.

Q: Can my team members be from different colleges? A: Yes, absolutely. Mixed teams are encouraged.
